Game feels over now. Spain have been better, but it's marginal I think. Both teams have been a little under the weather. I'm really surprised at Russia, they are lacking the energy and movement they had in the last two games. Arshavin seems to be asleep too, and I think they needed him at his best to win this game.

The game tonight will be interesting. With Ballack I sort of thought that Germany could force the issue and win the game, but without him I'm not so sure. Spain play better football and have the better team on paper.

I'm going to say Spain to win.

Yeah, I don't think it's confirmed yet. It's quite possibly a tactic on the part of the Germans, but the story goes that he's missed training since Thursday with a calf injury.

yea, he hasn't been to the training since friday at least (dunno about thursday) which shows that he has some serious problems at least. according to someone from the german team the chance that hel'll play is 'fifty to fifty'

A few pundits are positive he'll play and it's all an elaborate ruse.

Right now, it seems like Ballack will be playing. Just the psychological fact that he stands on the green is arguably even more important for our team than his playing.

Remove Ballack and I don't think Germany have any world class players. A few of them are OK, but it's not a great German team. They need Ballack to be there and to play well.

It's ok, they deserve it. They were easily the most consistent team on a very high level throughout the tournament.
