I think losing Pogrebnyak is BIG loss and Arshavin being out for the first two games means it will be tough. I think they can beat Sweden and Greece, though.
I don't know how good Sweden are. Larsson is pretty old, but he seems to always pull something out of the hat. Ibrahimović and Källström are good too, but I just don't know if the squad is strong enough overall to do anything.
We've got a great goalie in Isaksson. Mellberg/Hansson is competent as well as Anders Svensson. We have enough forwards for two teams. However, right back and left back sucks.. and Källström is a player I will never like. Gets nothing done on the pitch really.
Sweden has three players that I find exceptional team players and that's Isaksson, Linderoth and Larsson. Sebastian Larsson is very promising as well but kept out of the team thanks to the douche Wilhelmsson. Zlatan is not a team player to me.
heh. Russia won't get anywhere I think. It's 50/50 between Sweden and Greece decided by tomorrow's game. Spain will get 7 or 9 pts in the group and then get their classic first play off round knockout.
With Pogrebnyak and Arshavin I would have said the Russians would go through with Spain. Without them it's a tough call. I personally still think they're a better side than Sweden and Greece, even without those two.
