I rang Alexi the other day, we spoke for about two hours on the phone about some very deep stuff. But I can't tell you because it would be gossip.

I did meet them in Lyon (FR) in january 2006 after their show. I spoke a bit with Roope and Henkka, which was really nice. Alexi just seemed tired and spent 5 mins for autographs & pictures then left. Everyone went into him so I took this time to speak with Roope & Henkka who were alone ^^

yes but i mean everyones always like alexi this, alexi that, dont get me wrong he's a great player, writer, and vocalist, but people dont properly credit other members, and when it comes time to meet the band everyone crowds around alexi, as it seems since more than a few of the post here are about meeting ALEXI and thats it, does it not occur to these people that if u talked to someone not a crowded you might get a more........how to say this....im depth talk???

The day before he had smashed his toe in a stage monitior in Barcelona, where nevertheless they played a great gig,
I met Alexi and Janne at Lake Bodom last year as well, was really cool. Spoke to Janne about Symphony X and Stratovarius, I really don't know why because I don't like either band, I think it was because my guitar teacher had asked me to if I ever met him, and spoke to Alexi about the Big Lebowski and some other crap I don't really recall. Was awesome to drink with them though, even if I had drunk about 5 times as much and can't remember enough of it. Was a good night anyway

but when I was at a show of them in Tilburg (NL)
A friend of mine did, and it was really weird
After the show I lost the dude,
so I went outside of the concertbuilding
checking out if he maybe was there
I've been waiting for an hour, and at that time,
my friend was still inside, because he thought it was too busy to go outside,
and then all of a sudden, while he was sitting at the bar,
Alexi came to him and said that he couldn't get a beer backstage,
and so he sat down with my friend and drunk a couple of beers with him and talked 'n shit,
and when he left, he gave him his pick he played the show with,
AND I WAS STANDING OUTSIDE
fuck!
