Everyone here will like the new Dream Theater... Even Spawn

It was also my first DT album, but I think the mix could better. The instruments are very uneven, some are too loud and others very soft. James messes up a few times, but thats understandable, and his positives outweigh his negatives.

A better live performance is on the DVD Live In Tokyo, I think that's the title, I can't find it right now to check, but it's totally awesome.

Also, I really need to find ToT though I am saving money...

Live in Tokyo isnt on DVD yet. It is on video, and yes, it is great. James voice is crystal clear on it. I think LSFNY is their best live offering though. It has pretty much everything you would want... Voices, A Change of Seasons, Learning to Live, SFAM... Only Scarred could have made it better.

Live in Tokyo rules. Live at the Marquee (my first DT album) also rules. LSFNY is pretty damn good.

OIALT is bad, though, especially considering they ditched the guitar solo from Scarred - what next, Deep Purple scrapping the intro to Smoke on the Water?? Either play the whole song or not at all!

I have Live In Tokyo on DVD.

I thought it was a bootleg as it's on a DVD-R, but I guess someone got the original film and trasnfered it to DVD because its ultra good quality.

Probably the best DVD I have.

It isnt that good, though it isnt that bad. Why do they keep throwing in time changes all the time? Are they just wankers? It pisses me off, like in the verse for As I Am, its annoying as all hell. I like Metropolis better :headbang: The boyz certainly have some l33t skillz though.

I think you need to buy some other albums if you think its heavy :) Did I mention I like Metropolis better? Cos I do :headbang:

JB HiFi in Melb have it now, but it's $34. Comes with a bonus CD or something, right? Hmmmm I need dosh. Me wants Machine Head's new album too. Oh well.
