Experienced Guitar Players, HELP ME!

I am 13 years old, I have been playing guitar for a little over 2 years. I own a Epiphone Les Paul Special II, it's sadly seeing it's last days. I was wondering what might be a good guitar to get once mine breaks. Any suggestions???

everyone is going to tel lyou something different, go to a guitar store that has many different kinds, play them and find the ones you like and experiment with them more. personally id say go for a godin or a vintage kramer, but thats just me and i have a weird guitar taste.

pick some random 8 string, tune it 2 tones down, and start listening to meshuggah like you're on your last days on earth.

you can't go wrong with a ESP

if you wanna play metal, just go with an intermediate ESP or Jackson

if you are on a budget, go ibanez. of all the shitbox budget guitars, i'd get an ibanez. the All Access Neck joint, the wizard II neck being available on lower end guitars, the Edge Pro II tremelo(not as good as the edge pro, but still better than a licensed floyd)... and they make great upgradeable guitars, just a pickup swap and your good to go.

if a tremelo isn't important, i'd recommend this, you'd get a mahogony body out of it, wizard II neck, and then upgrade the pickups and its a great guitar

Ok, I have narrowed it down to either a Jackson, or an Ibanez.

by what i know, and remember this is a drummer's perspective , it's easier to go "all-around" with an ibanez, jackson's more of a metal guitar.

So i'd go for ibanez

Ok, I have narrowed it down to either a Jackson, or an Ibanez.

the problem with low end jacksons for me, is that horrible neck joint. its totally stuck in the 60's. ibanez has advanced their neck joint and use it in almost every model.

if you wanna be alexi go for esp, if you wanna play good guitar go for ibanez or used jackson that is at least 10 yrs old

Medium-low budget Ibanez are the sux0r. The neck twists passed two or three years and the bridge is shit. Obviously, I base this statement on the experience someone had with ONE Ibanez.
