dont buy an ibanez, the necks although good feel are made from absolute shit, my 350dx cracked and my freinds neck thru ibanez's truss rod broke, theres something wrong with the necks in those things

learn how to take care of your guitars man, I have had my rg570 since I started playing, and it is an 90 model, and I have had my rg350 for a year now, Ibanez makes some badass guitars, crappy pickups but awesome guitars

and you are still asking questions about picking :erk:
Yeah, I want to get really good at alternative picking before I move onto sweep picking. Im sorry that I can't learn how to fucking play like Paul Gilbert in the matter of 2 years.

was that suppose to mean period?

aboutr breaking necks? how would you break a neck. if you break one you shouldnt have been doin wat you were doin. as for bolt on RR's, i own an jsr30 and it is awesome for its price but if you are gonna go with a jackson, i vote rr3 or rr1.

I was quoting him because I agreed with what he said, but you can't have only the quote in your post, so I had to put something.

the pick guard on the RR5 and RR1 really ties it together, it is an integral part of the origional RR, hence why they have them. the RR3 is so far withdrawn from the origional RR its almost a shame they put the RR name on it, as well as the JS30/35RR...

The original RR didn't have a Pickguard
