if you wake up in the morning and go to get out of bed and fall on your face in pain, you got a hernia. well, yeah, you might have one regardless....but if the pain is still there tomorrow...go see a doc. doesnt sound good.

I just finished rubbing some aspercream on my nuts and lower abdomen. Cross your fingers and pray that my vas deferens recover from such a horrendous tear. I had a hernia in the same area when I was 7 years old. I was attempting to pick up a cinder block to impress the 9 and 10 yr old chicas that lived next door at the time and my bulbus became inflamed like Anders Fridens arse hole after Jean L'Cest dropped by to get cloud connected. Fucking argh! From the little research that I have done this could very well be a "sports hernia". Now this condition is a misnomer, it's not in the hernia family. Unfortunately to get rid of it you need to undergo a procedure similar to the one to treat hernias. First off, I don't wish to pay 20% of the medical costs to get such an operation done. Secondly, I don't feel like being layed out for a couple weeks to recover. So fuck it, I'm going to continue on living for several more weeks and hope it just goes away on its on. Arghhh!!!!!!!
 
So I'm at the point where I can't function without popping ephedrine/caffeine. I'll awake from a full night's rest feeling like ass, yearning for the sweet 200mg dose of vitality. What does it matter any ways, I work graveyard, so I'm destined to die of prostate cancer lmfao.

I was doing dumbell presses with 110's for 8-10 reps back in the summer but I'll be damned if I know how much I can do now. I go extremely light and cut my rest time between sets to approx 30 seconds now. I mostly do cardio as well. I'm done.
 
That's prob where Im at nowadays. Like I said in a previous thread, I am all done with going heavy and extremely serious. If I even lift at all, it's very light yet intense. I mainly stick to cardio now, starting about 2 months ago.

I want to lose some mass as well. I figure I'll give my heart a break for once in my life. Looking for longevity here.

Last few weeks I would just take the 55lb's and bang out like 25 reps, put the db's on my knees for 30 secs, repeat, until I could not even do 3 reps any longer. I can tell ya, going light and very intense feels great. Ya just gotta throw out that gym ego, lol.
 
Ken - did you ever take steroids in your life? Guys who suffer from "bigorexia" have to eventually turn to 'roids, since you can't go past a certain point au natural, is that right?

How does one even know how 'big' he can get without taking steroids? You can drive yourself nuts I suppose. Look at this guy - I sympathize but it's so vile :ill:

I'm getting more results on my waistline from supplementing my meals with fruit (apples & pears) than bottles upon bottles of ephedrine/caffeine. I used to spring for those shatty Naked Juices/Odwalla fruit drinks. Though they are excellent when compared to other snack alternatives, they pale in comparison to the fiber of the almighty Mexican Mansana.

Note- This isn't taking anything away from a nice ECA stack. Those serve their purpose of keeping me awake at 4am in the morning when I'm working alongside an uptight nipper.
