I think it's hightly disrespectful, to put this poll on the bands official forum before the release date.

Why?

Most of us are Anathema-fans since the beginning. (I bought my first Anathema-CD in 93...)

Yes I downloaded "A Natural Disaster" today and I will buy it the day it is released, as the others here on this forum will do.

The band gets feedback a little earlier from the people who are really into their music. I don´t know what is wrong with that. It doesn´t change anything... The album was uploaded by someone, neither Anathema ´nor Music For Nations can do anything against it.

Anathema is a great band so is the new album. BUY IT !!!

Let´s think about a newbie is coming to this forum. Doesn´t know much about the new album... Message from this poll... = GO and get the new CD. It is another form of promotion, isn´t it?

The only way we can really be sure of what Anathema is thinking about this poll is ask them...

What I dont understand, why people arent this angry for some other threads, like "will u download it poll (with 62% of ppl answering the they will get is from the net BEFORE buying it), or the reviews topic, the "first impressions" thread.. and so on.

And its not even a reviews thread which CAN change peoples opinion.. This one doesnt reveal any secrets!!

The second part of Violence sounds like pagan-metal with Anathema sauce to my ears. Reminds me of some bits I've heard on a self-labelled pagan metal record not so long ago.

Songs 4-8 are one of the best Anathema ever recorded... but "pulled under" is the best on "A Natural Disaster". I got that picture in my head, thinking of a once strong battle-cruiser that is sinking to the ground sinking into the abyss... great atmosphere in this song.

"Flying" for me is the counterpart to pulled under... another really great song.
