Favorite Death metal band?

It was alright until the fat singer guy took off his shirt and started jumping around the stage.

The person standing next to me at one of their shows (supporting King Diamond), was leaning over the barricade. The vocalist bent over, and his belly pushed the guy's head down. It was pretty funny to see him jump back

Weird. Its the opposite for me. Ive seen them live a couple times and to me they seemed like a shitty "OMG CORE WITH METALRIFFS!!!" band, but I own Unhallowed and its totally different. Pretty decent melodic death/thrash. Pretty at the gates influenced.

I've heard their live shows are kinda inconsistent, and it depends on how the board is mixed for how they are.

It should be a matter of how it sounds. Its pretty easy to figure out genre if you are familiar with your music.
