What is your favorite thread on the forum and why?

For me it's [thread=559066]The Randy Staub love thread[/thread] because it gave me a completely different viewpoint on mixing.

So, it's OK to talk about the old threads. It's just not OK to actually post in old threads. GTFOH.

It begs the question, then. If it's not OK for "noobs" to bump old threads, why the hell does this site keep threads that are so old? Seems like a waste of bandwidth.

It was a joke. Occasionally, new members will post an answer for a 3-4 year old post. I was alluding to this.

Randy Staub thread was a great one for me too. Learned a lot off the back of that. Not necessarily all applicable to metal, but great techniques all the same.

There have been some killers over the years. I don't think my memory would do them all justice. Save to say any where Andy or other notable engineers dropped knowledge bombs were always ranking high.
