Oasis - Morning Glory ( commercial rock! hehe, theres just some damn catchy tunes on that cd....... ):D

lots of stuff from Queen (all 1973-1977 albums, plus A Kind Of Magic) and Rush (esp. All The World's A Stage, A Farewell To Kings and Hemispheres)... two of my favourite bands...

everything from Devil Doll: totally twisted, dark melancholic, but very melodic and beautiful music, which does not really fit into any existing style (best description i can come up with: lots of classical stuff, with some dark progrock thrown in - instruments used include piano (lots), guitars, drums, quite a bit of violin, some classical orchestra struff, and a completely twisted voice...)

would you count anathema's last two albums as metal? if not, include them in my list...

i also like guns n' roses's Use Your Illusions albums a lot...

furthermore:
blackmore's night
elp
and probably a lot more...

´rightie! But i´ll give you some names of artists instead...:)

Lisa Ekdahl
Bo Kaspers Orkester
Sisters Of Mercy
Bad Religion (and simular music)
Dia Psalma
Just D
Manu Chao
No Doubt
Pain
U2
Depeche Mode

Followed by a bunch of bands...:)

anyway, Ronja Rövardotter? You want some translations of the lyrics? Hehe...:) Weird, but then again.. Astrid Lindgren is quite big...:)..

Hmmmm -out-

When I was a child I liked "Karlsson from the roof" very much..... :)

Is that the correct English translation? I just know that in German it's "Karlsson vom Dach".....

John Coltrane's Favourite Things - good call!
Miles Davis' A Kind of blue is more quality jazz

I'd have to say
D Mode - Black Celebration & Ultra
Rush - Farewell to Kings
Steely Dan - Aja
Toto - Anything by
Bon Jovi - Anything by
Mike Oldfield- Tubular bells
Nazareth - Hair of the Dog
Frank Zappa - Anything by (esp Broadway the Hardway)

and yes yes of course UlverOfficial DesolaioN Dominion

It is "Katto-Kassinen" in Finnish. I disliked it even when I was a child...

-Villain (who just found the new "Now Playing"-option)

@Soulscar... Well translated from swedish it would rather be "Karlsson on the roof" or something... Well...
Yeah

Yeah, I dunno. I just remembered the book being one of my first adventures in literature  ...and, apart from Ronja Räubertochter (I've only seen the film), the only thing by Astrid Lindgren I can remember :)

If you put Bon Jovi as a "non-metal" band (their old stuff is hard rock), and Rush (progressive rock around 70ies) there are more possibilities.

Willow, Jurassic Park, The Piano, BraveHeart and much more BSO!
Bon Jovi .- "Slippery When Wet" and so on...
Michael Jackson .- Thriller
Rush (I love them!)
Queen .- "A Day At the Races" "A Kind of Magic" and so on...
