I'm not a fan of the term boyshorts. It's not an inherently bad style, particularly if made of lace, but some of stuff I get from a google image search is pretty bad. Such as anything with any leg coverage extending from the inner thigh. Panties should not have legs.

But what really should be avoid, more so than any particular style, is anything with a goofy print. It might suit a high-school girl, but not a grown woman.
