Festival Attire

As a sign of protest, I will be wearing Pretty Maids shirts each day of the festival until Glenn brings the Maids over to play! I was bidding on a snazzy 1992 bright purple Pretty Maids jacket this summer that would have looked ghastly in the heat of Atlanta but I was outbid. I was going to REALLY protest by wearing that son of a bitch each night.

AMEN Brother!!!

Fuggin' hilarious. Did you see the forest pattern camo Kilt?!!!! I swear I may end up in one yet. Maybe next year.
I'll have whiter legs than ANY Scandie!

Luna, Wear the Maiden shirt one of those days. I'm now thinking about wearing a maiden shirt at some point during the weekend.

Oh, I'll definitely be wearing Maiden one night..pic of Eddie on the front with the "Killers" logo. I thought it was really unusual when I bought it, but there was another attendee last year with the same shirt.

(Oh, well, at least it wasn't as traumatic as showing up to the high school prom...only to find that someone was wearing the same dress...)

I have'nt put much thought to it yet, but I suppose I'll wear my Yankees shirt (with Mooseknuckle and the #69 on the back) for at least one night. That and the long haired 12 year old I have in tow (most likely in an In Flames or Iron Maiden shirt) should make me easy to spot. Damn, which shirts to bring...

I'm probably going to go with my new Loudness shirt on Thursday,
not sure about Friday and Saturday but probably ProgPower and
Rush...

This threw me into a mad fit of giggles. Thank you, sir

I was watching the game at Allgood's in Athens, and the bar erupted when we won - what a close game! Needless to say, it got crazy after that :loco: Go Dawgs!
I go for GA when they play Flori-duh and Bama, at least. GO VOLS!:kickass:

I've narrowed down my selection of shirts to eight. Not bad for a four day trip.

I totally understand, although I was really good about my packing this year. Usually I have so much trouble deciding what to bring, but this year I know I'm going to be handing over a lot of my money to Exploding Ned (and hopefully a lot of the individual bands merch tables as well) buying tees, so I don't think I'll run out of things to wear this weekend.

So this year, I only packed three t-shirts:
  • Doro - black girlie with skulls from the recent tour
  • Genesis - white and gray girlie tee from the recent tour
  • Sonata Arctica - black girlie with basic front logo

Of course I also packed my PPVII tank top (I can't remember if he said he did or not, but I'm hoping Glenn has girlie tees or tanks this year for me and all the PP ladies :Shedevil:) and my black pleather corset for corset night. So I really do still have more clothes than I will probably need, but I tried not to go too overboard.

On the bright side, I have lots of room left in my suitcase for all the merch I'll be purchasing.

I've set on it, i'll be wearing Edguy shirt, Blind Guardian(Tales from the Twilight World), and Municipal waste. Edguy I know for sure for showcase :p

Considering this a less formal event, I was considering wearing my leisure suit. Maybe a black velvet sport coat with a red mesh shirt, zebra stretch pants, a collar, and a heart pendant to boot. I might have just enough chest hair to pull off the look. It'll be tough to throw the horns with the sport coat on... but I'll do my best.

:yow:

You better watch your rear next weekend ...

:yow::yow:

I wore my PF "New Religion" album cover t-shirt for the Saturday portion of the festival. I saw a couple more of the same style being worn there as well.:kickass: Especially the PF band members themselves!:headbang:
