Yeah there's a lot of pumping and shit going on there. It was a quick mix and I'm now using it to adjust to my new computer, seeing how new plugins work in 64bit (some not very well). Widek posted on here, so it's not for a paid job.
I actually just combined your cymbals with some I'd bought from Monzter drums, smoothed them out quite nicely.. and then I ended up preferring just yours. They're aggressive and not particularly nice sounding but they work.

yeah, that was the goal, "nice" is for people who don't get laid ...I take "mean and dangerous" over "nice" every day, especially in a metal context
my main problem with all programmed drums is that the cymbals never sound real, cause they're never mic'd like they are in a real situation, it's always perfect sounding spot mics etc...you'll never get that with a real recording, and after all programmed drums are supposed to mimic a real recording, so why not use the real techniques....
