Folk/Viking Metal recommendations

I think there's a search tool for a reason.
I mean, i have like only 34 posts but i already found what i was looking for here.

Here's a few...

Doomsword - Excellent Italian band

Falconer - Viking metal with power influences.

Elvenking - more folk than viking

Bathory - Some fantastic viking stuff, but beware... Some of their albums are a bit growly to say the least. Very inconsistent, going from brilliant viking to hard to digest death.

Thyrfing - Folk not viking

And never forget the mighty MANOWAR

I saw no one´s mentioned Otyg, very atmospheric, some of their music sends chills down my spines, even better than Vintersorg here and there.

Haha, same here. Falconer is very much power metal but with folk melodies and occasionally instrumentation. Thyrfing is usually considered viking.
