Here's a few...

Doomsword - Excellent Italian band

Falconer - Viking metal with power influences.

Elvenking - more folk than viking

Bathory - Some fantastic viking stuff, but beware... Some of their albums are a bit growly to say the least. Very inconsistent, going from brilliant viking to hard to digest death.

Thyrfing - Folk not viking

And never forget the mighty MANOWAR

Kivenkantaja was their best album, in my opinion.

I just checked out Metsatöll the other day because they're playing at Heathen Crusade this year. I don't see how anyone into folk metal would not enjoy this.

I saw no one´s mentioned Otyg,very atmospheric,some of their music sends chills down my spines,even better than Vintersorg here and there.

I think he has improved that thing on his latest 2-3 albums,still some of his early material kicks ass.

I'd have said Falconer were Power with Folk influences, and Thyrfing Viking.

Haha, same here. Falconer is very much power metal but with folk melodies and occasionally instrumentation. Thyrfing is usually considered viking.
