Well I'll withhold judgement until I've heard studio material but that live recording left me cold. I think Arkona are definitely more interesting.

I'm aware they are from the same country and are both female fronted folk bands. I just think they would have to sound more similar to judge one against the other like that.

if 'interesting' rather than 'good' is what you want, check out Nevid', then. same band members, more complex music.

I like Kalevala more, I think they make better music. That's the end of it for me...except that I think more people should listen to this band!
