Well I dont know how it works in Europe, but retirement age in the US is around 55. And any large business will have a turnover rate (retirements etc) and the youth influx will be there. When going for a job youth is a big attraction to employers, with the thought of being able to create a great worker who will stay with them. That is what companies want, not alot of turnover. Not people who stay for two years then bolt out.

So, the youth get the jobs..and they eventually become those lazy and fat 40-65 year olds (hopefully retire) Its a vicious cycle! Drinking ages and tobacoo use age limits are right infrigements are they not? But by saying there is no mandatory 2 year hire isnt really an infringement on rights, its age discrimination at the most. Where is it a right to have employment? Like I said before you have the right TO it, but no one should be like "Fucking employ me now because Jesus said so, I'm French!"

But as I said above, not in a socialist country, and I grew up around my fathers own business and trust me..if you owned your own business, and had to hire some douchebage and keep him around for 2 years cuz the government said so, you would be ALL for this bill.

I never said a lazy or incompetent person should keep their job but why don´t they make that law equal for all? That´s what I meant with rights. No one would dare singel out a group like imigrants, homosexuals or women.

This set of rules has more to do with the econimic cycles and periodic jobs than someone being french or lazy at work. But why not just put that in the ad for the job? "Limited period of service". My problem with the whole thing is that all young or unemployed people are seen as roaches.

And if a company time after time happens to employ people who are stupid or lazy they should fire their employment responsible.

Who wouldn't be grateful if we nuked them? After all, the United States believes that nations with weapons of mass destruction should not be trusted. It's a good thing we have those 10,500 nuclear weapons.

For the record I would fall under their employment law (being 26). I agree with you though, especially about the employment hiring method person, I think that would be a Human resources person?
