of course i've read what he's "done"
but have any of you tried ringing him or dropping him a message? no!
he's just moved house and doesn't have the internet freely available there....being somewhat agoraphobic too getting out the house to go use it somewhere else would be a bit of a PITA for him.
im not defending what he's done if that genuinely is the case, just think about it logically!

Dan you fucking need to chill man, I'm sad to say this cause I like you and all but I think you're having a somewhat aggressive immature attitude lately. Quite a few of you guys do actually, this is none of your business, it's between John and him and whatever you guys answered should have been helpful to John instead of just bashing Gareth pointlessly (i.e. being cunts without helping anybody in any way). He will pay him back when he's got money, end of the line.
Sucks that he's not paying back for now, but he's in very busy times and will do it eventually. As much as I am sure he will, I gotta be honest, Gareth is not one I would lend money too, but that's not really the point anymore, is it? I can appreciate you being caring and nice about this, but that attitude is exactly why these things happen. Furthermore being lackadaisical about shit and spending someone else's money is fucked and he deserves whatever he gets from it.
I am sorry, but if I bought a cab from you and you spent my money and didn't send me the cab and 5 months went by, then you would have much worse to look forward to than a few people saying mean shit about you. Just saying basically that that money goes a long way and to have it pretty much stolen or taken and treated as a interest free loan is bullshit. I wasn't just slinging poop. I really think the op should report Gareth to the law and take him to court. It was honest advice, it is what I would do if in his shoes.
I was also advocating to not get in a situation that would lead to violence, ie going over to his place and getting in his face on the street. Because based on his statements on this board he uses lots of drugs and makes completely incoherent statements. Hence a unpredictable drug addict.
That being said there is no need to call Gareth names or insult his mother or other nonsense.

I haven't checked in awhile but I had him as a contact on MSN and I would chat with him for about a 2 to 3 month period, this was about a year ago. Randomly sometimes I would get random ass messages that had no coherence what so ever and when I would say something like "what?" he would take 5 minutes to respond to explain something that made sense somewhat but had no relation to the jibberish he blurted out earlier. This was about the same time he went from respectable cool headed member to attacking members and getting banned by MetalAges and going off on "spiritual" mumbo jumbo.
really havne't talked to him since, his posts on here since then have been still questionable at best.
