If you're going to school and staying out of trouble, you should remind them of that. Although if they just suggest you don't dress/act a certain way, and aren't forcing you to conform to something you're not, they probably are just looking out for you.

@Matt: too bad about your family. Mine are the same about my hobbies, like they first said if I acted "normal" I'd have more friends and I should be friendlier to people.

But whatever, as most people are not worth talking to and I'm my own person.

Don't listen to them as like you said you're smart, a good student, and don't do drugs. Your family should consider themselves lucky as they could have much worse blood related to them. I should know.

No. Our families get on our nerves sometimes. Even my mom does and I consider her as more of a friend than a parent.
