If God knows everything why do I need to pray?

We should pray because it is how we communicate with God. You would never ignore your family just because they are in the same house as you and they know what you are doing because they see you or talk to your co-workers, teachers or friends. You need to talk to your family to have a relationship with them.

It’s the same with God. God wants us to talk with him and to have a relationship with you. Prayer is an important part of your relationship with God. So is reading the Bible. Remember, even Jesus prayed to God.

prayers are like gods little baby alarm so he can he hear us and knwo we're alright, if he doesnt hear prayers hes gotta worry like

the teacher at school knew everything but she made you learn it anyway, so god is the same. And if you get stuff right god gives you golden sticky stars and then you go to heaven (unless your a prod or something then you go to purgatory)
