I figured out that Ashe was basically "the" main character, but I sort of thought the story was supposed to be through Vaan's eyes in a sense, making him the main character as well. I thought 6 kinda had two main characters with Terra & Celes. Ashe is highly underdevloped & cliche, like I said. Basch doesn't really seem all that important. Balthier & probably Fran are the best characters, although Fran is quite under developed. Vaan & Penello are the most under developed.

The Bouncer was pretty lame & forgetable. That was I think the first Square game on PS2. That development team should not have been hired to make a Final Fantasy game. FF12 is AMAZING in concept but I think it kinda fails in delievery. It's a shame because when I first started getting somewhere in it I thought it would turn out being one of my favorite FF games evAr. Now I'm really close to the end & I would up playing through Resident Evil 4 again instead...

No, but I played the first two Ratchet & Clank games & you can't go wrong with those. They kick the shit out of Crash Bandicoot & Jak & Daxter 100 fold. I need a new R&C game.

I played Suikoden (not II) ages ago when it came out. It was kinda sorta cool, but it was really relentless & I wound up getting stuck probably over halfway through the game & I gave up.
Suikoden I is really good too (the second best psx rpg after Suikoden II :p ). Suikoden II is like the first one except better in pretty much every way, and you can load your saved games from the first game to the second (it is a real follow up not like Final Fantasy) so alot of characters are in both games and you can equip them with cool stuff in the first and when you get them in the second they are really great. Great story and lots of sidequests due to the 108 characters to collect. Try it again, it isn't really hard, most FF games are alot harder imo. :)

I played Burnout 2 at a friends house yesterday. I had a hilarious crash where I missed everyone and crashed into the guardrail, yet somehow scared a truck that I didn't even touch into crashing, causing a massive pile up and huge amounts of damage.:notworthy
:kickass:

I only own/played Burnout 3, 4 and the latest Dominator game in the series and they're all great. I am not much of a fan of racing games, to be honest, but Burnout is very exciting.

has anyone played these games?
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Resistance: Fall Of Man

Ratchet and Clank is really good if you enjoy shooters with extremely lite platforming elements. It's also fairly funny too.

I just started Uncharted a few days ago and it is really good as well. The shooting sections are basically Gears of War lite coupled with fun platforming all shrouded in a Indiana Jones esque veneer. I haven't beaten it yet so I can't give a final verdict or anything but based on what I have played so far it is damn good.

I never got around to beating Resistance, mainly out of boredom with the game. However, I did see my brother beat it (if that counts for anything). In my opinion, the game was far too derivative--think Halo, but less fun, combined with Call of Duty, but less fun and you have resistance. Fortunately it does have some interesting weapons but unfortunately they all feel severely gimped since most of them have absolutely humongous ammunition clips. Moreover, the enemy AI is pretty shitty. The game makes its areas more challenging by throwing a ton of enemies at you rather than having them utilize any strategy. So basically they just stand in one position waiting to gun you down, which makes the gameplay far less dynamic and conducive to multiple playthroughs, unlike the Halo series.
