Memory citation? Give me a fucking break. I forgot, everything that you say is true and no citation is needed. Everything I read on the internet must be true!

Thanks for the memory citation. I'll remember to use that when I go to college.

I'm not getting into that whole debate but on being $60 I don't think thats true, i think thats a fairly recent thing. Almost all my games for n64, ps2, xbox, etc were 49.99 and i remember being outraged when they first started pricing console games at 59.99 and thinking how ridiculous it was. i thought pc games at least would stay at 49.99 and i was even more angry when i saw pc games being 59.99 (which they all are now, so fucking stupid and offensive especially considering a lot of it is digital so they don't have those expenses).

i'm almost positive it was with the launch of the xbox 360/ps3 that the price went up to 59.99 for games, or shortly after.

As a kid, I was always using my allowance to buy games at a used shop. You guys are right, I just always remember buying games for cheap because they were used. I don't recall ever buying a new game until I was older.

The used game market is the only way I'm going to travel with the XBox, save ME3. I went to the local Gamestop and wrote a list of used games I saw I'm going to be picking up.

Yeah, they are great. I wish we still had that old retro video game store. Fuck paying $60 for a cartridge back then. That is a lot of lawn mowing! I am not Richie Rich.

I need to hit 10,000!

I was a master manipulator back then. It helps that my next-door neighbor had a retardedly huge collection too so we swapped games back and forth a lot.

Again, I want to recommend Devil Survivor. Just download Desume and ROM it.

The story is amazing. Full of plot twist and originality.

You like RPG elements? Attributes, skills, and demon fusing. Hell, demon auctioning.

Like strategy? Plenty of it, and if you're good at it, no need to grind. And if you suck at strategy like me, a little grinding goes a long way.

Like atmosphere? Impending doom, mass panic, unusual skies.

Like mystery? No one knows why the Yamamoto circle of Tokyo is on a Special Defense Force lockdown, enjoy finding out.

Like characters? Prepare to care about these ones, and even choose who most suits your own moral and psychological ideals.

Like multiple endings? Six of them.

Like gods? Odin, Thor, Beldr, Heimdal, the Christian God, Lucifer, you name it.

It's SUCH a good game. You can be playing it for free in less than five minutes, do it!

If you get in, which is going to be difficult for you. And why the fuck would I lie about the cost of a video game? Seriously, why? You need to loosen up. Unplug the pc and go get laid or something.

Bro, believe me. The new SNES games were 60 bucks a pop. It's been verified by others, if you read above. The brand new SNES systems were either 250 or 200 depending on if it came with Mario World or not, or an extra controller or something.

I remember this. Hell, I remember 8-bit NES games at Toys R' Us costing between 35-50 bucks. That's why they were so precious because we couldn't afford many of them when we were kids, so we had to make damn sure they were great games because we knew we wouldn't be getting another one for a long time. Skate or Die, Spy Hunter, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Blaster Master, Zelda, Jackal, Contra, etc. All those games had tons of replay value because they were so expensive. It wouldn't surprise me if SNES games were just as expensive if not more so.
