it's prolly a little of both...I guess...as you age you do have more memories to reflect on and more of a sense of nostalgia...and a longing for the past and and things gone by and listening to music, it can trigger that sense of longing.....and the self pity that ensues knowing that with every day that passes...you're that much closer to death....

ghost of perdition owns pretty hard...great album opener. baying is a very close second for me on ghost reveries.

I don't see how they could write something better.

I agree that it isn't possible to see, but that doesn't mean that they can't do it. If you could see you would be a great musician.
We can't tell what to come out of this brilliant band!
