Ghost Reveries Guitar Question

Something i have noticed while passing through the GR guitar tabs on a web site that i use for all my Opeth needs, guitar wise, is that the tunning for the album is in open Dm tunning (DADFAD), anyone care to confirm to help me out to make sure the guy doing the tabs is correct, sorry if this was already one of the over asked questions or made forums, i new to the forum

umm... i cant completely answer your question cause im not certain if that is the exact tuning, but on opeths website on the diary for the making of g.r. mike said he and peter did alot of the riffs and solos in open tuning. i think he said all but like 2 songs are open... aside from that what site is it that you are talking about and is it more than just like tabs?

I have also looked over the tabs and yes, I think the tuning is correct when playing along to the cd.

I'm pretty sure it's DADFAE, actually.

hmm.. I am able to play at least Ghost of Perdition and The Grand Conjuration with a normal Dropped D tuning... don't know what tunings they used though.
