im a girl...and i wanna know what are some good metal bands that other chicks lyke. i lyke blind guardian, iced earth, my dying bride, opeth, and nevermore.

I listen to Anal Cunt because they really write songs from a personal female point of view.

I listen to various bands like Finntroll (my ultimate favorite), Children of Bodom (shut up you fucker who said it's gay), Thyrfing, Moonsorrow, Kalmah, Sentenced, Blind Guardian, Sonata Arctica, Dew-Scented, Arch Enemy, Amorphis, Norther, Therion, Iced Earth, Sethian, Pain, Angra, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Helloween, King Diamond, Anathema, Lake Of Tears etc...

Yeesh _Zsuzsa_ , you mentioned more than half the bands I listen to. Finntroll is rather good, I have to say. Children of Bodom is good. So are Sentenced, BG, SA, Arch Enemy, Norther, Iced Earth, Angra, DT and In Flames.

Hm... stuff a girl would like. Since I am a girl... Ummm... Jack Off Jill and Kittie are the first two in my head. Stabbing Westward is a grunge, industrial band which you may like. Thy Majestie is a good choice as well. If you like Norther, you make like Entwine as well as After Forever. HIM is rather good, and if you like them, you will like Moonspell. Mago de Oz is rather amusing if you enjoy Spanish metal with a violin as a main instrument (still metal!) Within Temptation, if you like Nightwish and Synergy but prefer something lighter. Dark Moor is good, and so is Fairyland if you like epic metal like Rhapsody and Kamelot. My personal recommendation would be Dream Evil, Primal Fear and Falconer.

If you enjoy Sentenced, you may like Lollipop Lust Kill although it is a lot darker. Of course, there is always Edguy and their projects, Avantasia.

Those are just some of the bands I listen to. And right now, I am checking out Paradise Lost.
