Could the banner show just "RC" and the moon. The raven can be removed, it could signify JK removing himself from the forum.

Not a bad idea, but both the raven/moon logo is part of the RC brand name, and will follow our fearless leader as far as I know.

The color's fine. Just change the stroke of the letters "RC" to purple (or a different shade of gray) to make everything come together
