Glenn Harveston...true metal warrior...

You know what.... listen to Edguy's Mandrake album, and listen to the guitar solo of Wash Away The Poison. Listen carefully. They could flow out of that straight into the dual-harmony part of the solo to Hotel California. Every time I hear it, I wanna hear them go straight into the Eagles! It'd be a cool little thing to do live, man....

...shit I may even bust out my vinyl collection and listen to BOTH greatest hits albums this weekend.... get that vintage sound.... oh yeah.... nostalgia time...

OK, so now that we're doing real confessions I took my ladyfriend to see Dido a couple years back. Kind of like taking them to a chick flick, part of the 'duty'.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Every year I "have to" take me wife to ProgPower USA. Just part of the "duty".

I love metal as much as the next guy, but that's not all I listen to! I've seen Martina McBride live before, and you want to talk about impressive pipes? She blew me away! That little gal can sing with the best of em'!

I've seen Martina McBride a few years before at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and she is an amazing singer. She's so tiny but the girl has got some serious pipes!! I'm going to see her tomorrow at the rodeo actually..... well, I guess it's today now. YEEHAW!!

I'm down with that!!

Personally, I think you're all queer after this post! :)

In all seriousness, I don't think I've ever been to a pop rock concert. My ex swears that I would have been blown away by Janet Jackson but I doubt it. I DID see 80s Christian metal band Messiah Prophet in a high school gym once. I left when they started preaching but that was my "brush with queerness".

Rough job eh? Seriously, I'd love to have seen the Eagles. I like the more obscure tracks by them, but I'm sure the concert would've been amazing to see.

Got y'all beat.

All of y'all.

I've actually paid money, out of my own pocket, to see Yanni.

Live.

TWICE.

And I'd go see him again at the drop of a hat.

BEAT THAT!!!

you win, without a doubt!!!! I would just like to clarify that I doubt Martina McBride could sing Computer God by Black Sabbath, then I would be impressed!

I fold.

I did go to see Kenny G...but was dragged there by my wife. I almost fell asleep.
Although I have been to see many country shows, of my own free will I might add. Waylon, Cash, Haggard, Jones, Steve Earle(although that was years before he came out as a marxist and it started to infiltrate his music). I love that hardcore outlaw country music.

No sir but I did buy a lasso!! It's green and black!! I'm not real handy with it yet (tried to lasso me a few cuties and missed) but I'm practicing real hard.

I was at the rodeo on Friday night too (for Pat Green) and I wore my sisters cowboy hat most of the night. How about THAT Andrew?

Yeehaw!

BTW, Martina was totally not that impressive this time around. She is ~6 months pregnant and seemed to be struggling a bit. She's still an amazing singer -- just not the best I've seen her.
