I enjoy very little from this year.

The list so far:

1. Meshuggah - obZen
2. Skelator - Give Me Metal or Give Me Death
3. Maelstrom - It Was Predestined
4. Furious Barking - Theory of Diversity
5. Noneuclid - The Crawling Chaos

I'll leave it a top 5 for now, having to decide between a decent Trivium album or a weaker Metal Church album just to go past that is not inspiring. There's some stuff I need to refresh my memory on that might be good enough though.

Should point out that #3 is a brief rerecording of a late 80s/early 90s thrash band that I almost never listen to, and that #4 is a 1992 thrash album left unreleased until 2008.

yeah it may be volume of friends that's the issue. i know dazed and a number of other people are having the same problem, the admin's basically said he's not fixing it and we'll have to wait for the next sonemic beta like a hundred years from now

I forgot all about that Ansur album. I liked it when it came out but over time I think it merged with Aghora's Formless in my mind and was lost to me. Should check out that 7 for 4 album, I've heard the first one which was a solid continuation of Sieges Even's mid-90s sound iirc.
