That was one of the few films I considered holding off posting my list to see, but then I thought it was kind of absurd since '85 is a rich year with many long time favourites to bother trying to see too many new things to pad it out. Still wanna see it though!

idk if i'll have time to do a proper list but yeah right now my top 4 would be ran, after hours, to live and die in L.A. and re-animator. commando would probably be up there somewhere after a rewatch as well.

6, 8 and 9 on CiG's list are all on my wishlist. i actually have a huge wishlist for this year lol. i think the movie i most wanna see is crime wave, looks so awesome. still haven't seen come and see either, or mishima: a life in four chapters.

Looking over my letterboxd made me realize how little I’ve seen from this year! Some really good shit from what I have seen, though.

1. Come and See
2. Day of the Dead
3. Ran
4. Re-Animator
5. Return of the Living Dead
6. Clue
7. Back to the Future
8. Commando
9. Fright Night
10. Death Wish 3

Edit: just realized my letterboxd list for this year is missing some favorites, like Thou Shalt Not Kill...Except, which has Sam Raimi hilariously playing a Manson like cult leader. Still, feel pretty good about this list. Might change my mind before this ends, though. Got beer in the fridge and the old lady is going off to do wedding planning shit tonight so who knows how I’ll feel later.

Actually a ton from this year I've never seen, including a lot of foreign films.

1. The Quiet Earth (one of my all-time favorite sci-fi films, and one of the most unsettling)

2. Brazil

3. Re-Animator

4. Return of the Living Dead

5. To Live and Die in L.A. (long time since I've seen this, but no time to rewatch anything)

6. The Breakfast Club

7. Clue

2 Goonies (full on fucking love!)
3 Commando (fun as shit action movie with tons of good quotes!)
4 Rambo
5 Rocky IV
6 Silverado
7 American Ninja (this movie made me want to be a ninja when I was a little kid)
8 Teen Wolf
