I listened to Twitch a long time ago when I first explored Ministry, and I think I gave that particular album a re-try when I began digging more into 80s electronic and industrial stuff in general, but it never really grabbed me. I probably enjoy it than most of their other albums though.

EBM is one of those things where I never really learned what it meant though. According to RYM, DAF is EBM and Allies ist Gut is one of my current favorites, so there's that.

This is a thread for what your favorite albums from this year are, not a competition. But again, not surprised considered who its coming from. And you actually had the nerve to try and cry last week about "BUT YOU TRIED TO WINNN!!!" in the themed mixtape game. ammaaaaayyyyzin.

EBM is one of those things where I never really learned what it meant though. According to RYM, DAF is EBM and Allies ist Gut is one of my current favorites, so there's that.

Well DAF predate EBM proper, might be accurate to call them proto-EBM and are definitely one of the pillars of defining the sound. EBM is really just industrial dance music when you get down to it and Allies ist Gut definitely has some dance grooves albeit in that autistic German sense of dance. "Der Mussolini" is Devo-esque as fuck.
