Goatsblood - Drull

thanks for the kind words about willowtip, its greatly appreciated.

i don't really think goatsblood is much like today is the day, maybe a tad bit though.

look for big things from willowtip in 2004...

commit suicide - synthetics

alarum - new full length

necrophagist - onset of putrefaction Rerelease w/ real drums and bonus material

arsis - full length cd (www.mp3.com/arsis)

harakiri - new full length

Everything I've heard on Willowtip is awesome, even some of the lower quality stuff is a lot better than most "extreme" stuff out there.

Well i guess ill have to check these guys out- high recommendations indeed f they are from Bloodstained and Dreamlord

Goatsblood sux.

Look out for my review coming this week @ Royal Carnage

Worst of Willowtip.

Much prefer Kalibas, Rune.
I bet you'll say Goatsblood is an Eyehategod rip-off, which couldn't be more wrong.

EDIT: "compared to the legendary EYEHATEGOD and aside from these guys ripping off EHG"

I knew it. And other than that statement you didn't even mention what the music was like. All you did was take cheap shots at the band, comment about fucking one's mother and quote the press release.

Tipton, any news on the sequel to Halls of Amenti from CC? Aren't there suppose to be two more?

I could be wrong, though.

I downloaded the whole cd- i think they have some good ideas and alot of talent- but it is pretty clear by this album- that they havent fulfilled what they were trying to do musically. The singer needs a little work as well- i just dont care at all for his voice- he is trying the Today is the Day scream- but he just doesnt have it.

god, some people are so dumb its insane. i think some members of this forum have ears infected with AIDS.

next installment from cephalic will come out in 2004 some time, when they find time to write and record the next track.

Thanks for the update. I've been anxiously awaiting part II.

Really? I didn't think of Today is the Day even once while listening to Drull. Today is the Day has a much more banshee-type vocal style, very high pitched, not to mention the thousand effects that Steve Austin puts on his vocals.

Dont' get me wrong, I love TitD, but I just don't see the comparison with Goatsblood.
