goddam i dont wanna go to work tomorrow

got to go to work tomorrow. prolly work a 11-12 hour shift. blah..., but at least i have the weekend off

I'm bugging for a company vehicle because I'm on the road like 12 hours a week now. Company has a thing for Big Huge Chevy Trucks which, quite frankly, I hate to drive. So I said "could you like, give me some money and I'll go buy a used Toyota?" :dopey:

this past saturday was the only one i have off in a string of six saturdays. wtf?

No, but I've had a few Jaaps, aka Suzuki Samurais. :loco:

I totally dig Jeeps, but prefer having a truck bed for utility. The Jaaps were just supar cheap and bombproof, perfect for a bonzai college student.

I don't want to wake up tomorow. But I also don't want to take the absence and miss tutoring and loads of other shit.

Current Mental Status: kill me now

yar. i remember samurais.
i just wondered because even old ass jeeps from the 80s are still (somehow) commanding 6-8 big ones. which is like 6-8 big ones more than i want to spend on a car made in the 80s.

It's the market, people will buy 'em for that price, so they keep selling. I think it's stupid, since there are Jeeps EVERYWHERE and if you just hunt enough you can find a cheap one. Or get an old Toyota for about 1/3 of the price, that's what I've always done.

I miss offroading god dammit.

haha, i bet our perspectives of off-roading are competely different. you know, different terrain and all that.
the cover of the latest JP magazine is monteagle, TN. :headbang:
yeah, im a redneck.

80's Pickup / 4Runner (same thing). I've owned a few, got rid of them because not having a garage sorta sucks for secondary usually-in-9,800,426-pieces vehicles.

I'm thinking if my work gives me Truck Ca$h I'll go for a late 90's Tacoma. Something that I can pile on the freeway miles with and hit the dirt once again.

Oh yeah, I'm all about 40 hp squirrel engines and 400:1 crawl ratios for boulders, you probably sling mud with a V16 Caddie and a Confederate flag waving behind you. :loco:

bwahahaha hardest ive laughed all day caddie engine and confederate flag dead on hilarious.
love the 400:1 ratio too haha

for a real life account of the image you described, just check out the latest JP.

i want something thats a daily driver but can also lug around the wife and boy through the woods (wherever the fuck those are). just sounds fun to have a 'vertible. as irritating as the miata is, its fun to put the top down.

I'd get an older 4Runner, like a '96 or newer for a daily driver / weekend warrior. Not too expensive but should still be in plenty good shape. Plus you can still find the 4-bangers with manual trannies in those years! :D

you wouldnt believe how much people ask for these things.
haha and "old" to me is like 1986. both of my cars are 10 years old and i consider them to be fairly new. [/notyourtypicalamerican]
