Good Grindcore Bands

I'd like to reccomend Scald.

They are a very talented progressive avant-garde grind band from Northern Ireland. I think they really kick ass with their unique style. If you like both grind and doom metal (Khanate is at times a kinda close comparison) then these guys are pretty much likely to be your brand of beer.

Please explain your position, I'd be absolutely delighted to hear your reasoning behind this statement.
:err: Perhaps that he doesn't like grindcore?

I'm not that into grind but Pig Destroyer, Exit 13, Brutal Truth, Terrorizer, Nasum, Napalm Death, Carcass, Discordance Axis and Repulsion kick ass.

Pornogrind doesn't even exist, so I fail to see how Anal Cunt can be part of that genre.

You're wrong, pornogrind is yet another subgenre, bands that write lyrics with a dirty sexual theme often fall into this category, pretty silly if you ask me but yeah...:)

As I've said countless times before, lyrical themes to not suddenly manifest genres.

Oh yeah, it wasn't like he just made a general statement about an entire genre by hearing probably one Anal Cunt song and thinking all grind is the exact same thing. That hardly warrants someone "disliking" a genre.

Well perhaps you have a far greater insight into how familiar he is with the genre than I do, but from here it looks like you just disagree with his opinion.

You can't just blindly go around and make silly broad statements about a genre in a topic that asks for good examples of that genre. On at least my version of the internet, that's called trolling and makes the user commiting it look very vapid. His opinion is quite apparently a generalized take on an entire genre. Such generalizations are ridiculous.

What, that made no sense to me at all.

I know I'm not the only one, as GoD, Nick, and plenty of others on this board have demonstrated countless times that they have superior knowledge of music in general.

Master.

Fucking awesome band. I've pretty much got everything from them. Nematoid: Specimen Parts I-IV is grand grind.

Many on this forum would dig Scald.

Other than a few songs from Lucid Interval, the only worthwhile thing Cephalic Carnage has done is the Halls of Amenti EP.

Well in my version of the internet demanding 'the reasoning' behind something that relies on personal taste is rather illogical. You can always just ignore him, this is, after all, the internet.

Hey J, so I assume you also have the Born With Teeth and Nematoid: Specimen Parts V-VIII demos? I sure would like to have BWT and NS V-VIII somehow.

The only complete Scald albums I have are Headworm and Nematoid: Specimen Parts I-IV.

The rest, well I have only the "Vanishing Point" song from Nematoid V-VIII.

I also have only two songs from BWT, and they are "Maggot Farmer" and "Confusexcremental" which I am listening to right now.

So J, is there any way I can get the complete BWT and Nematoid: Specimen Parts V-VIII demos? And maybe also perhaps the "Rancid Fuckhole" demo?
