I agree with anyone who said last night at the starland ---KICKED ASS! :Smokin: BOTH bands were great. Mr. Allen had his "pipes" on  and the entire band sounded amazing. The sound, the set list, and the crowd ------just rocked! It also helped that they had a little more time in NJ; they weren't as rushed as NYC. Overall, it was a really great night. Anyone who had a ticket for that show had to leave feeling :OMG:
And just a word on the QR fans----they may be older, but they still rock  and it never seems like they have a problem coming up with the cash to continue to rock---no matter where the band is :Smug: and that's after having paid for there "online computer bills"!
Symphony X :worship:

I was there and it indeed rocked. I cannot believe how packed it was on a Sunday night. You could not move in there. Symphony X just ruled and I think they won over alot of new fans. Hopefully that Ralph dude from the Tour Bus took notice to this and will start giving Symphony X more airplay. I think hes only played them once or twice in the past year. Queensryche were as great as always. Im not a big fan of their past three studio albums but those songs to me always sound great in a live setting. Last night was the best I have seen them. Otherwise I have only seen them in the outdoor setting at PNC and they sound so much better in the club. Great night for metal and hard rock fans.

Hey C! Good to you see you last night!! The show was awesome. You are right, Russ was at his best last night. I wish I could have hung with you and your cuz during QR, but we couldnt give up the good spot we had. We never saw QR that close.

GraveDigger,
I agree that QR sounded much better in that setting rather than outdoors. It also ranks up there as one of the best times I've seen them. But I saw them on the Warning tour, so last night has some competition. btw, seen you on blabbermouth and I think the ET board, no?

1st time seeing both Symphony and Queensryche.... WOW !!! My ears are still ringing ! I was right in front of Romeo for the whole set, and just about center stage for QR. By the way, I don't know if you heard, but I'm the guy that screamed BURN FOREVER during Wicked.

I totally heard that!!!!

Bah...I wish I could have gone to that show, but I'm only 15, so I don't know if they would even let me in there in the first place. Plus, I look about 10 years old and concerts are no place for little kids. :)
