Every year on 4th May at 8 o'clock in the evening Holland commemorates the people that died and suffered in World War II with 2 minutes of silence. Yesterday I was at the Rotterdam Ahoy to see The Counting Crows. At 8 o'clock there was an announcement and a request to be silent for two minutes. I cannot explain what went through me during the next two minutes. It was just so unbelievably (is that the right word?) beautiful to be among thousands of people not saying a word. It almost made me cry, no actually it did make me cry.

I know this is not a Threshold related story, I just felt the need to share this with you.
