got the time vs antisocial

Hell yeah mrthrax, I totally agree with you...and I don't see why my suggestion was so crazy, I think that my setlist would make for an amazing show

I don't see why Anthrax should drop so many songs from their most popular era from the set. Sure, anything they play will be good. But Spreading and Among are classics. They can get away with nothing from Spreading, but only one song from Among is blasphemy. It's like Maiden only playing one song from Number of the Beast or Black Sabbath playing one song from Paranoid.

Have you noticed how in Europe, they lean towards newer shit ???? Sign of the times. It tells you alot. I'm actually seriously considering planning my euro vacation to include a thrax gig. 2004 is gonna be one hell of a year for me I think.

Or maybe I'm just stoned?! I don't know. I've had so many freaking friends that have been to europe lately and ones that are going. I don't wanna be left in the dust anymore.

Drop neither. But if I had to choose... Got The Time. Antisocial is a classic which must stay! I'd add CATHARSIS!!!!!!!!!!!

Spreading and ATL may be "classics", but I don't think they really hold up over time, I just think they were good for the time that they came out. In my opinion, and I'm sure lots of people don't agree, Stomp 442 is better than both of those albums, it's just a great CD all the way through, especially with all the bonus songs from the import version.

S442 is awesome, as is SOWN, BUT BUT BUT -- ATL is a standard that other wanna-bes should learn from. Especially for its time. IMO it sounds as good today as when it came out... :hotjump:

I love the fast double bass on Skeletons. But vocal is so gay. I am also glad Scott has grown out of re-telling Stephen King's stories in his lyrics (btw I love King and Apt Pupil DOES kick serious ass! I just don't like this kind of lyrics). They just should play more from WCFYA or Vol8.

And Stomp too, since, you know, they don't play anything from it.

Of course. There are songs which kill live and I heard em-In A Zone (mainly), Fueled, RAOSV, Nothing, Riding Shotgun... hell, what a catalog! Try playing BARE as well!
