I know I've heard at least a few of you mention most of the bands on this list, and seen them in your links and playlists and stuff. Not that I have any chance of going, but the lineup looked cool.

This is the weirdest show I've ever seen...Aerosmith and 1349? Korn and ATHEIST? wtf!?

Sunday however, does look incredibly awesome.

Dessel Belgium, near Mol (which is the station for those comming by train) It's fairly expensive, especially foodwise, butaccomodations are above par, generally.

I've been to Graspop and Wacken before and IMHO Graspop is better bang for your money. I don't think there is a single festival that comes even close to the line-up Graspop puts together every year. It's simply awesome. Something for everybody, even my wife who was with me and not into heavier/darker metal enojoyed the music/festival/people.

Facilities are also excellent in Graspop as they actually have runing water and regular toilets. Campsites kind of suck and are better in Wacken as are the surroundings/landscape.

If certain belgian redneck was to attend this one again I'd certainly consider going there again.

line-up was weak I thought in comparison to previous years, actually to me it seems as if Wacken line-up is getting weaker from year to year, the weather on the other hand though was just fantastic

i actually think that 2004 was my favourite year... maybe it was the first time... and usually first times are more memorable but 2005... i was too miserable in the rain to enjoy much of...
