Greatest Album of all time?

I don't know what the best albums are but my favorites are as follows:

Queensrÿche "Operation:Mindcrime" and "Empire"
Dream Theater "Images and Words"
Rush "Presto"
Queen "Queen II"
Symphony X "V" and "The Odyssey"
Star One "Space Metal"
MeatLoaf "Bat Out of Hell II: Back into..."
Nobuo Uematsu "Final Fantasy X Original Soundtrack"
Bruce Springsteen "Born To Run" (or any of his live albums)

...and lots of others I've forgotten to list...

This are the best 5 metal albums I have ever heard. Being TPE the top notch IMO.

Uhh, joeshabadoo... Queens of the Stone Age? Good? I'd never put those two in the same sentence unless there was a negation involved. I listened to their album (I don't know if they've done more) and it seemed too repetitive for my taste. But that's just imho. Don't get offended by the comments of a prog-digesting dinosaur-to-be such as myself. :D

As for the albums:

Meshuggah: Destroy Erase Improve.

And no, it's not because of my nick. :) That album is just the heaviest chunk of metal I've ever come across in my whole life. :D

*taps foot*
*scratches forehead*

Nope. Nothing else really comes to mind - except for the usual barrage of DT, SX, etc albums, but I think everyone's already seen them too many times here. :p

Devin Townsend : Biomech , Infinity , Terria , Accelerated Evolution
Emperor : In The Nightside Eclipse , Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk , Ix Equilibrium , Prometheus ( all in fact :) )
Transatlantic : Bridge Across Forever
Arcturus : The Sham Mirrors
Agalloch : The Mantle
Opeth : ALL
Death : Symbolic
Symphony X : V
Dream Theater : Awake
Metallica : Ride The Lighting
Samael : Passage
King Crimson : In The Court ..
Queensryche : Operation:Mindcrime
Those are the first of my 200 top list , i can't choose which are the best :D

I'll go with favorites because most people would not agree about best...

Demons and Wizards - ST \m/ >_< \m/
Symphony X - The Odyssey
Symphony X - Divine Wings of Tragedy, V (they tie, but just below Odyssey)
Iced Earth - Horrow Show
Iced Earth - Something Wicked, Burnt Offerings, Night of the Stormrider (they all tie)
Nightwish - Wishmaster
Opeth - Damnation
Metallica - Master of Puppets (it's what got me into metal in the first place, and I still love it)
Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middle Earth (got me into good metal)

I just need more CDs.

Here's my Dirty Dozen

Sepultura - Arise
Tony MacAlpine - Maximum Security
Symphony X - Divine Wings Of Tragedy
Vinnie Moore - Odyssey
Vinnie Moore - Minds Eye
Pantera - Cowboys from Hell
Machine Head - Burn My Eyes
Joey Tafolla - Plastic
George Bellas - Mind over Matter
Yngwie J. Malmsteen - Marching Out
Seo Moon Tak - 3rd (Korean Female Rocker)
Metallica - ...And Justice For All

Yeah, turn of the Millennium freaked me out, it was groundbreaking at the time but MOM sounded a bit more polished and alot thicker. I love Deen Castronovo's drumming as well.

I used to know every single model number and spec about every sibgle thng with wheels. But now I'm more into music. Don't forget, I'm only 13, I can't drive (hehehe, mabey I do) .

But I like the extreem, ultra-fast, european, georgess car (just like my shredders) like the Gillette Vertigo (the be(a)st looking car ever), Pagani Zonda, Suzuki Eskodo ect.. Just to dream about 'em.

So, your an Ozzy, Ford Or Holden?
