Opeth's Greatest Record?

<_< Ok, i know youre all thinking "Well son of a bitch, this has been done before" but hear me out...Since i havent been here long and am not here alot i dont know your guys opinions on this...

What is Opeth's Greatest All-round Record? Im missing Morning Rise and My Arms Your Hearse..thats it...so i cant really say which one is best yet...However i can say i think Blackwater Park is the best so far ive heard....

Orchid for me, definately. The general opinions are either Still Life or Morningrise though.

I think Blackwater Park is their best. Then Deliverance / Still Life.

My Arms Your Hearse is absolutely wonderful - my favourite album of all time. It's hard to get into, but it really is worth it when you do. However, Morningrise is an absolute masterpiece too so you must get both. Orchid and Blackwater Park are also wonderful.

Opeth doesn't really have a career-defining record such as "The Gallery" or "The Jester Race". Pretty much every release is a new benchmark or is something totally different.

You should have made this a poll...

But, I don't think that I will declare a favorite Opeth album anymore. I can't decide which one is my favorite. It is between Blackwater Park, Still Life (which used to be my least favorite ), Morningrise, and My Arms Your Hearse, possibly even Damnation (just so heavy and appealing). They are all great albums for me.

Blackwater Park is the best, a true masterpiece. I would put Morningrise 2nd.
