I totally dig listening to Jethro Tull although I really doubt I am the only one that does. Much of their older stuff, even pre-Aqualung, has a lot of excellent songs on it. They are, without a doubt, my one guilty pleasure. Unless disco-era Bee Gees count too....

Shit I like which causes me to get crap from everybody about:
Sum41 (ok, I admit that I like and listen to this band)
Linkin Park (I like 'em enough to have their cd..a shirt..and a pin)
Dashboard Confessional ('nuff said)

That's pretty much it. I'm not ashamed about the other groups I listen to.

JETHRO TULL RULES!!! I like the BeeGees too, but I never owned anything by them. ;)

I thought about starting a thread like this as well, cuz I think it's funny that all my friends have always had some unexplainable non-metal guilty pleasures.

One buddy (guitar player) listens to bluegrass, another is into Ottmar Liebert, another actually has some Bread and Carpenters CDs in his collection.

My guilty pleasure has always been Melissa Etheridge. Ever since her first album came out, it always spoke to me...and damn...you've got to hurt before you write music like that...

There's my torrid confession...haha
