No you don't... We had one in at the shop once, and they're THE WORST ever thing to try to tune... It seriously takes hours... And you can only really import proper good ones from India and they're incredibly expensive... just use a synth... We have quite a few lutes though, they're really cool...

Do 12 string Nylon Strings even exist?

I've never seen a 12 string classical, but that doesn't mean they don't exist... It'd have to have a huge neck though, cos the strings are much thicker...
