happy friggin' Monday

Friday - Kasey and I made a small excursion to Angel Mounds near Evansville, an ancient Mound Builder city. Was pretty interesting, although they don't let you go up onto any of the big mounds. :(

Saturday - sat around and procrastinated a paper that's due tomorrow. Only got a few pages done by the end of the night.

Sunday - worked 8-3, came home and worked on the paper some more. Played a pretty tough game of Age of Kings with my brother and two of his friends. My brother and I won after a pretty hard-fought battle. Then went over to Kasey's, where the two of us plus our friend Aiden watched Girl in 3D, a totally awesome movie which is both kinky and hilarious. Aiden left, rape commenced, I came home and fell asleep with one of those icy/hot gel things on my back because it has been killing me all weekend.

Yeah, it was pretty bitchin' except for Saturday. Now Spring Break is over. :(

Dee - Was Monsters Vs Aliens as good as it looks? I really wanna see it.

DnB - Is it worth the $8 to see Haunting in theaters or should I wait for the dvd?

Max - was the gay acoustic guy Will?

EricT - that's been my monday so far, minus the alcohol... not feelin it

Kevin - Was Memento good? Been meaning to rent that.

Yeah, once I figured out how everything went together (the black and white scenes versus the color scenes) and that everything is kind of backwards, it was really cool. After it was over, I fell asleep on my couch and woke up like 25 minutes later thinking "OK wtf just happened, where am I and how did I get here?!? Ohhh yeah...."

Don't rent if you have Comcast On Demand. It's listed in the free movies section, that's how I watched it.

also, the main female in the movie is smokin' hot... the chick from The Matrix.

It wasn't as full-blown great as the trailers and such would lead you to believe (or hope), but not so much that it ended up being a letdown. I enjoyed it, my missus enjoyed it, and the kids loved it.

DreamWorks animation has always been hit or miss for me, this one was a hit. I didn't enjoy it as much as Kung Fu Panda, but it was definitely better than something like Shark Tale.

I haven't had a day off for about 2 weeks now, b ut Guitar Hero Metallica came out on Sunday. That is the only thing I been doing when I am off work.

....and today is Monday, so it is a slow, but yet very snowy day at the casino. I <3 the internet.

saturday - went out with friends ... went to a smoke shop and bought a new pipe. went to some antique stores and bought a candle-holder and more candles, went to barnes & noble with bought Somewhere in Time by Richard Matheson <3 and a new collection of short stories by F. Paul Wilson <3 <3 <3 then we went to Cold Stone <3 x infinity

worked yesterday and it wasn't bad.

Laura please please please tell me you didn't get another one of those little nuts and screws metal pipes and got yourself a nice piece of glass instead...
