I know most of you can't stand HBB but I watch it in the hopes that I might see a good video from back in the day or maybe I can hear a song from a band that I see talked about (tonight I saw Suicidal Tendencies, King Diamond and Voivoid). Last week Dave Mustaine was hosting (saw two or three of his videos from The System has Failed and the HBB premiere of a DEP video). My husband and I have discussed how we think that bands are running out of good names. I'm talking about metal bands, not hard rock (like Warrant, GNR, etc). We had bands with names like Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus, Biohazard, Obituary, and Nuclear Assault for example. Now I see names like DEP (like the music but silly name), Autumn to Ashes, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Every Time I Die and Between the Buried and Me. Don't get me wrong - I'm sure that there are some good names out there and I know that there were crappy names back then. Any thoughts?
