I just felt Id place my sentiments before probably being banned! WHAT THE FUCK? Is there something wrong with the mods, this forum, the band? I love you guys, awesome musicians, and as a paying fan we get treated like shit...BTW Jax, I think you're about 5-6 weeks past your apparent studio update... Seriously what is this bull shit, why is it you treat every fucking memeber in this forum like morons, useless tools!! And don't give me the bull shit of they don't owe us anything, the band would be nothing without there fans. Seriously wtf? Everytime someone trys to discuss their sentiments/learnings of the new album it is locked/deleted right away..Why? because forum rules say you cannot talk about unofficial album news... BULLSHIT, maybe if we'd stop getting empty promises. Maybe if for once the news actually came from this site as promised years ago! Its a sad state of affairs that the album has been leaked, the samples wtv... Do you realize that the whole world now has acces to this album, its sound, its album artwork, its fucking TRACKLIST, meanwhile the fans on this forum have got NO FUCKING NEWS what so ever, you know the ones who actually give a damn about the band? the few who actually buy their merchandise, the ones who WONT download their album but will buy it? I find it an insult to us, that this should happen! Sorry symphony x you guys rock, but my heart and many others i'm sure are left broken because of this fucking shit. Day in day out, we're silenced from just talking about the band we loved best, and we're treated like crap just because the band, and jax have set rules that we cannot talk about what they don't tell us....Yet they've told us absolutely nothing! Do you realize that ever since this album was mentioned their was ONE ONE fucking significant update...which gave the release of the new album! God damnit, look I'm sorry but its just bull crap. I could rant for ever about how you've left me fucking stripped of any respect for you, or the band!

Saying this exact same sh!t....except that then, I was right, and I am still right...I just let it go...with the whole leak and all of that, it just comes more to the forefront, what a piss-poor job the SymX management and website crew did with this entire release and album...

I will agree that it is pretty lame that the cover was flatly LIED about being real....that and whenever there were questions/comments about the album and the utter lack of updates regarding it in the 4+ years that it took to release, I was looked at as not being a fan because I expected something to keep my interest and desire in the album (and that of other Sym X fans) piqued....

From what I understand, and agree with, everybody pretty much knows the tracklisting, artwork, and possibly the sound of the album, but because somebody (I'm not sure who) is being reluctant to post it officially, it cannot be discussed in any way. That's pretty lame, imo. As stated in this thread, we were told that there was an update coming... it didn't come, so now we cannot discuss PL? The whole situation just seems strange. I don't want anybody to personally be offended here, but it just doesn't seem like the proper way to treat the people who make being a band possible.

Just like the album getting leaked, the tracklisting and cover art were also leaked. The same rules will apply. Symphony X are not going to release the album tomorrow to make up for the leak, nor should they have posted the same news the second it was leaked.

More people are involved in these matters than you could know. It is both Symphony X AND InsideOut Execs that decide how the flow of information is going to work leading up to the release of the album.

Shift your blame to someone who is actually to blame for this: The punks spoiling the bands plans and sales.

and it is not just one case of this "promised update" being failed to be delivered...time after time with this album, "there will be an update soon" or "there should be an update within the next few weeks" or similar quickly became months and even virtually half a year in some instances...that's not showing a great deal of care (or really any care at all) towards the fans...those very fans who do buy the albums and pay the tickets to come to live shows and buy the merch that allows SymX to be a "recording artist"...and those same fans that are the only reason that SymX is any better than a "bar band"...

Ok, finally read v-tech rant and here's what i have to say:

Did it ever occur to you that Jax and J-dub are acting only based on what they're told? Maybe it's not their place to confirm or deny anything. Hell, maybe the band's management has something to do with the stifling of information?

Everyone is frustrated, but holy fuck, i gotta say i hope you do get b& for your little bitch outburst. Good christ, i tell ya, there are quite a number of us who get together and chat here and there off the forums about stuff because we CAN chat there, and there aren't any mods. Everyone had an open invite and some of us chat all the time, some join in on rare occasion. It's a great way for us to talk about the album and so on and so forth.

Suffice it to say, you're pretty much blacklisted from any such thing as far as i'm concerned. You do nothing but bitch and moan about the forum, only thinking of what the band and what jax owes you as a fan, which is bullshit. Think for a minute, maybe Jax is just as unhappy as we are about all of this (i am not speaking for her of course, but if i were to make an educated guess, i don't think she's sitting at her computer laughing it up). Stop being a selfish prick and just go away

Also on the note of bad management, I was informed that Michael Lepond got in trouble for doing the KWTF Interview, and thank you sir Lepond for being the one and only to step up and tell us something about the masterpiece, since apparently you care about your fans! So wheter management or the band gave him shit, Kudos!

And stop saying patience is virtue... I couldn't care if the album was 18 months away, I can wait... Its all about making promises that can't be kept, so if you have nothing better to say than stealing ancient metaphors stfu!

I never said jax is ultimate evil, I'm very sorry it has to be this way....but how can you deny the fact we where told about multiple UPDATES for the past 4 years.. when truly weve had one.. why lie? why say anything if they do not have the power... its been discussed by others!

You're no better than anyone you ridicule, you freaking homer...it's like someone is not allowed to post any opinions that criticize any member of Sym X, their management or the fairly poor web-staff without you railing against them...that is more pathetic than any amount of "whining" by fans who have been lied to, mislead and withheld info....especially since, if a promo CD is out, that means that tracklisting, cover art, and album length and such (as well as possible samples) have likely been available for months...whether those samples would be final mix versions or not, doesn't matter...what matters is that they would have whet our appetites for the album instead of frustrating your fanbase for 4+ years...

1) I guess waiting 3 years with virtually no updates places us under the category of "Impatient".
2) This thread has nothing to do with the band releasing the album earlier than the given date. You seem to have missed the point of this thread completely
