Re-read my post asshat. I said jax and j-dub are not the ones making the call. I damn well AM criticising their management because i think their management fucked this one up. Big time. In fact, i think if the band has any smarts, they'd fire the management. This is stated based on what i see, which may be inaccurate, but from what i've seen go on with these forums, that's my best guess. The management dun fucked up, and the band needs to seriously rethink their affiliation with whomever this might be.

My point is that you guys are acting like whiny bitches. yeah, maybe promises shouldn't have been made that couldn't be kept, but again based on the information Jax recieved, she was under the impression that they're going to do that. You can't bust her balls because she won't pester MJR night and day for an update. They'll come when they come. Or not, what the hell difference does it make? You're going to make a specticle of yourself because you're a little butthurt? God forbid they DARE keep the updates from YOU!!!

Hurray I'm as glad as the next the album will be great and will come out! I know they worked there asses off, I never denied any of these facts... But when we get treated like ass and silenced over something that they where supposed to, and I might add jax said we'd get.

Its just the whole fact that we where told something that never came true (thus far) we where also lied to about the artwork and etc... now the last people on earth, the ones who download the album for free and wont buy it have it! ANd the fans, the forum members, the fanclub memebers, who own a shatload of their stuff still get treated like garbage.

Try no. Not everything they say is a personal promise to you, so don't flatter yourselves.

But it sucks when they say stuff and it doesn't happen...and its been happening for 4 years...so if its a management problem/beyond their control they would have learned sometime ago that they should not post it! I'm not hear to fight with you man, Im just here stating how i feel, how I am truly heart broken, there is no other words to explain my feelings!

and fireangel, 4 years ago we where told samples track listing, by weekly updates, studio shots... none of that has really came true thus far... Not that its a huge deal, but after 4 years of it than finally eveything gets revealed to everyone else but us, its a kick in the sack... Simply that.

the worst part was when the album got delayed from October till "Winter/Spring 2007", which obviously turned into "the beginning of summer 2007"...oh, and you would expect a few song samples or a song demo to tide the fans over (again, those same fans who had already been waiting from October 2002-October 2006) and to hold interest in the project...but no....NOTHING AT ALL, and to even DISCUSS the album or criticize the poor management of the band with this effort only got you flamed and ridiculed...THAT is far more ridiculous than someone expecting updates, as well as expecting a band's management to not lie to the fans just because a cover leaked earlier than it should have or withheld info from their fans, etc....

If you honestly think the band is keeping information from you for the sake of it, i suggest you stop listening to Symphony X full stop. You are a disservice to everything they work so hard for.

No matter how I felt about a band as people, that wouldnt change how much I like their music. You sir are retarded. As for it being irrational behaviour, I don't feel the same way as him but I can sure as hell understand his point of view. You are far beyond stupid if you can't see his point, what you've been saying in this thread seems to be almost what you'd expect from a religious fanatic, except we are talking about a band who still live with their parents, and call one of their basements their "dungeon"

STUDIO UPDATE FROM MJR
MJR spent a while on the phone today teasing me mercilessly with descriptions of the songs on Paradise Lost..man, I can't wait for this cd!

That said, on with the info: mixing is being finished up this week, & MJR is very pleased with the work that Jens Bogren has done with the mix. Next up comes mastering which should happen within the next week or two; at this point, the anticipated release date is in late June.

The next cd report, likely in 2-3 weeks, will include the tracklist, so keep an eye out for that.
