Heathen Crusade IV

So I thought I would be closer to Minneapolis since I moved halfway across the country, but no, still an 18 hour drive. Maybe if Agalloch plays.

Just curious, have you looked into flights? You may find that a flight to MN is less than gas. I think when I flew there for HC1, it was like $135 round trip.

Nope, haven't checked out flights or anything, I just assumed it would be more expensive. If I could find something for around $150 or so I could be more inclined to explore the possibility of going- it would be nice to not have to drive 18 hours as well. The lineup thus far doesn't quite seem worth it for me either, but who knows.

I hope flying is reasonable this time! Probably Buffalo, NY --> Minneapolis for cheap. The 17 hour drive through snowstorms on the way back, hungover on 4 hours sleep was pretty fucked.

The fest, on the other hand, was great.

I was reading through the HC1 thread this morning... god, what a classic! Swizzle and TheGreatDeceiver's first RC appearances, with Swiz looking dumbfounded at the tongues of Cara and some other lady. Some great stories in that thread.

I also noticed my observation circa autumn 2006 that RC was getting too populated for my liking. I was right :loco:

There is actually nothing even approaching a line up at this time. There's a bunch of wild speculation and some bands who have expressed interest in appearing. Right now the promoters are just trying to determine if it's financially feasible.

Zod

Zod is correct. The promoters just mentioned a few bands that have expressed interest in performing if there is a Heathen Crusade IV.

Aye, that's true. It would help if I would read more than one reply in a thread hehe. This is one American festival that I do try to read up on each year, despite my lack of attendance at any thus far. I appreciate the fact that the promoters work hard to try and make these festivals happen; if the stars align I'll make it one of these years.
