Just wondering if any of you have ever listened to my mp3's? And if so what do you think?

Criticism is more than welcome, partly why i'm asking here is because motW's music is excelling in ways my music probably isn't, so will be useful to hear some thoughts.

From this page 'Forestall' and 'Softly' are over a year old, and my writing is a lot more developed since then. Softly is the more original of the two, but people tend to like Forestall better (i don't :p ).
Disposable is more recent and better recorded/layered/etc, but is stylistically different (simplified, written rather quickly).

and this song - No - was entirely written/recorded/mixed in 4 hours or so last week, so don't expect too much.

Eventually there will be vocals.

Anyway, if you're willing then listen to a song or two. I'd greatly appreciate it :)

wham spam thankyou ma'am

BTW, I will get to yours since you checked out my shit. Not sure when. I'm in the middle of doing some heavy recording so when I'm home I barely have enough time to even check this board. But I will scam em and tell you what's I think.

thanks :)

Definitely the drums could be better mixed. But like i said, i was on a tight schedule and from the moment i wrote the first note and had the first inspiration to the song i only spent 4 hours on it until it was in the state you hear now. I didnt have time to mix the drums individually or do anything much at all.

thanks for listening!

@FrostGiant: Take your time ;)

I agree with the surgeon about the drums. Cool tunes. The clean guitars sound damn nice. I thought some of the distorted guitars could have more growl to em, more bottom end (Forestall). I'd love to hear these tunes with some vox. There's definite potential for excellent tunes with the right vocalist. I'd really like to go more in depth on each tune if I find some time.

Thanks for the comments! :)

Yeh, everything is recorded direct into computer, Forestall's distortion simply through a Metal Zone. Doesnt make for good distortion, but that was a year ago and things are a lot better now. Vocals will be added eventually i guess, it's up to the vocalist who's probably busy with other stuff.
