Correction. All of the elitists from the other forums wandered in here and had a "my favorite band's name is harder to pronounce than yours, so you're gay" competition. It's calmed down alot over recent months/years (who keeps track anyway). A lot of people here are pretty cool, don't get me wrong.

I think your taking some of those people too serious, most of that seems confined to GMD though (from what I gather).
Basically I think most people come here for:
a) cool music recommendations
