Oriental Prog/Death Metal from Israel. These guys are the best at what they do. They take ethnic music of the middle-east and merge it with crushing metal, seemlessly. Mabool (The Flood) is a masterpiece album imo.

tried it. its good music.. i didn't like the clarity in the volcals, but a good keep nevertheless since i don't own much middle eastern stuff.

Lots of people hate PEM, on account of it's cartoonishness and simple accessable pop song-structures.
I recommend Emperor's In the Nightside Eclipse, it serioulsy makes Anthems and 99% of other black metal albums seem mediocre. If you don't like it, black metal probablty isn't for you.
I'm sure you all know about Annihilation of the Wicked by Nile too, but that one's seriously been roxoring my soxors for quite a while.

Codeseven - Dancing Echoes/Dead Sounds

I liked division of labor...and then they started going downhill with just a few standout tracks on the two following albums (they also got dramatically softer) and then i Listened to Dancing Echoes/Dead Sounds and fell in love with them again.

Moonlapse mentioned this album for production quality on a different thread. I don't have an opinion on the production quality of this record, but it certainly is a great album from a few yrs back & is deserving of mention in this thread also.

Nightrage- "Sweet Vengeance"

Marios & Gus G have some killer guitar work on here. Tomas Lindberg delivers another round of brutal vocals.
