I knew nothing of Martyrs going in. Actually I knew that lurch said "FUCKING WATCH THIS SHIT" and I did. I haven't watched it a second time.

Have we talked about Repulsion yet? I have a feeling that's one of those love/hate type of films, but man, that rad film blew my fucking mind.

Aye, I remember the discussion about Martyrs; haven't seen it yet and can't stream it on Netfux. The Countess is a pretty enjoyable flick about Elizabeth Bathory.

Martyrs was subtle, more than I expected. Inside was more disturbing to me

Agree with both points; I thought Inside was pretty damn well done. They are apparently making a sequel.

I enjoyed Martyrs, it's just that I heard so much leading up to it that I expected to feel the need to shower and hug a puppy to feel human again afterward.

Kind of like A Serbian Film. Still haven't seen it but, after all the hype, I'll probably be let down.

Oh yeah if anyone hasn't seen Troll 2 and wants some crap, watch it immediately. Believe the negative hype on that one, it's so bad it's amazing.

Haven't seen Inside yet. But soon I must. Also I'd like to see A Serbian Film, but I've heard OMG MOST TERROR EVAR too many times that I'll probably be let down.

The most disturbing films I've seen................hmm. I'd say Lady Vengeance and Pink Flamingos are definitely up there. Oh, and Audition as well. And really, Repulsion fucked me up a bit. Grave of the Fireflies. Others I'm sure.

I just watched the Tall Man in between my tutoring and instructoring duties. Twas okay...it had that unexpected twist, but then it got pretty predictable for me. I think I liked Wake Wood and Awakening better. The Tall Man should've had THE TALL MAN in it.
